A WARM FRONT WILL PUSH NORTH OF THE REGION TODAY AS LOW PRESSURE
SLOWLY APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE EAST
THROUGH SOUTHERN CANADA TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. A TRAILING COLD
FRONT WILL PUSH OFFSHORE BY WEDNESDAY EVENING. BROAD LOW PRESSURE
WILL SETTLE INTO NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND WILL
PERSIST OVER THE REGION THROUGH THURSDAY. LOW PRESSURE WILL
GRADUALLY SHIFT EAST INTO THE MARITIMES THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY.
HIGH PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY BUILD IN FROM THE WEST FRIDAY NIGHT AND
SATURDAY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL SHIFT OFFSHORE ON SUNDAY AS A COLD
FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST.

A WARM FRONT IS SLOWLY LIFTING NORTH TODAY. THERE IS SOME SHOWER
ACTIVITY OUT THERE THIS AM. THIS ACTIVITY SHOULD ABATE WITH
SHOWERS MOSTLY CONFINED TO THE MOUNTAINS AND NORTHERN MAINE AS
FRONT GOES THROUGH AND WEAK SHORTWAVE MOVES OFF TO THE EAST. SKIES
WILL AVERAGE PARTLY SUNNY IN SOUTHERN AREAS AND MOSTLY CLOUDY
NORTH AND MOUNTAINS. FOLLOWED MAV FOR HIGH TEMPS. THE WARM FRONT
REMAINS QUASI STATIONARY THRU NRN MAINE.

TONIGHT THE COLD FRONT APPROACHES SO POPS WILL SLOWLY RISE FROM
WEST TO EAST. CHC TO LIKELY POPS BY 12Z WED. USED MAV GUIDANCE FOR
LOWS BUT ADDED A COUPLE OF DEGREES DUE TO CLOUDY SKIES AND THE
COLD FRONT STILL TO OUR WEST.

.LONG TERM /WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY/...
UNSETTLED WEATHER MOVES INTO THE REGION ON WEDNESDAY WITH THE
PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT AND A SLOW MOVING CLOSED UPPER LOW.
GENERALLY LOOKING FOR SHOWERS WITH THE FROPA DURING THE MORNING
AND EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS AND HAVE GONE WITH LIKELY POPS FOR MUCH
OF THE FORECAST AREA. WILL LIKELY SEE SOME SUNNY BREAKS ESPECIALLY
IN THE MORNING BUT THE GENERAL TREND WILL BE INCREASING CLOUDS
THROUGH THE DAY AND INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS THE UPPER LOW SHIFTS
EAST.

MOSTLY CLOUDY AND SHOWERY WEATHER CONTINUES FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT
AND THURSDAY AS COOL UNSTABLE AIRMASS SETTLES INTO THE NORTHEAST.
BEST CHANCE OF PRECIP WEDNESDAY NIGHT WILL BE IN NORTHWEST ZONES.
CHANCE OF SHOWERS EXPANDS THROUGHOUT THE REGION ON THURSDAY AS
UPPER LOW PARKS OVER NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND. DON`T SEE MANY
LOCATIONS MAKING IT OUT OF THE 60S AND COLDER NORTHERN ZONES MAY
NOT EVEN REACH 60. ONCE AGAIN BEST CHANCE OF SHOWERS WILL BE IN
THE MOUNTAINS.

CLOUDS AND SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL LINGER THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT
THROUGHOUT THE REGION WITH HIGHEST POPS ONCE AGAIN IN THE NORTH.

CONDITIONS SLOWLY BEGIN TO IMPROVE ON FRIDAY AS UPPER LOW BEGINS
TO SHIFT EAST. WILL LIKELY SEE ANOTHER MOSTLY CLOUDY DAY WITH A
FEW SCATTERED SHOWERS IN THE NORTH DURING THE MORNING HOURS.
EXPECT SOME SUNNY BREAKS IN THE AFTERNOON DOWNWIND OF THE
MOUNTAINS AS DOWNSLOPE WINDS KICK IN BEHIND DEPARTING SURFACE LOW.

HIGH PRESSURE GRADUALLY BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST FRIDAY NIGHT
PROVIDING PARTIAL CLEARING DOWNWIND OF THE MOUNTAINS IN SOUTHERN
NEW HAMPSHIRE AND SOUTHWEST MAINE. NORTHERN AND EASTERN SECTIONS
WILL LIKELY SEE ANOTHER MOSTLY CLOUDY NIGHT.

UPPER LEVEL RIDGE BUILDS INTO THE NORTHEAST ON SATURDAY WITH
LINGERING CLOUDS GIVING WAY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES AND SEASONABLE
TEMPERATURES.

HIGH PRESSURE SHIFTS OFFSHORE ON SUNDAY AS THE NEXT SHORTWAVE
APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. EXPECT INCREASING CLOUDS ESPECIALLY IN
THE AFTERNOON. MODELS SUGGESTING DEVELOPING ONSHORE FLOW AHEAD OF
THE FRONT MAY PUSH SOME STRATUS INTO SOUTHEAST NEW HAMPSHIRE AND
WESTERN MAINE IN THE AFTERNOON. WILL LIKELY SEE SOME CHANGES IN
TIMING WITH THIS BOUNDARY BUT AT THIS POINT APPEARS ANY SHOWER
ACTIVITY WILL HOLD OFF UNTIL AFTER DARK SUNDAY EVENING.

COLD FRONT WILL SLOWLY CROSS THE AREA LATE SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY
WITH A PERIOD OF SHOWERS PERSISTING INTO MONDAY MORNING. EXPECT
IMPROVING CONDITIONS MONDAY AFTERNOON.
