If the forecast indicates partly cloudy or fog, chances are, we are having snow showers. These snow showers can produce significant snow. We refer to this as Pittsburg Partly Cloudy, 2 to 4 inches. I am not sure what causes it. I am looking into it.

01/14/11 - 06:59 AM IMPORTANT MESSAGE -- This past two weeks we have had a lot of unforecasted snow. This snow did not even show up on radar. This is normal for us in the winter. If the forecast indicates partly cloudy or fog, chances are, we are having snow showers. These snow showers can produce significant snow. We refer to this as Pittsburg Partly Cloudy, 2 to 4 inches. I am not sure what causes it. I am looking into it.
